It's probably already dead; we're all just hoping against hope for a

Either way, there is a prescribed method for running AUUG 
(http://www.auug.org.au/info/constitution.html) and if we don't do it 
right, it won't be valid.

In fact, there really is no deadline for doing any of this, so take your 
time.  Next month probably is better than next week, and next year would 
be, well the same as next month, but you get the idea.
