If AUUG is not there, all "validity" is irrelevant.

Yes - but the fuel is running out on this plane. Right now there is
still a pilot, and perhaps some semblance of control over how and where
we land. But the pilots are getting very tired, and they have
parachutes. If you care how and where this plane lands, help the pilots
or get out of their way - don't read them flight manuals.
