[Cook] Is there a confirmed problem with the Cook 2.27 Makefile.in?

Yes, I have run into it attempting to build cook 2.27 for a
Solaris 9 Sparc machine. The generated Makefile is not inserting
tabs when it should. I hand fixed the problems in the generated
Makefile so I could actually build the executables. However,
it also appears to be affecting some of the test scripts for
"make2cook" as well.
