Hey everyone,

one last reminder that tommorrow is the AUUG System Administraion
Symposium 2003. As I noted in a previous email you can register even
tommorrow morning at the venue if you wish, although we'd encourage
you to do it today if you can. The form and all the details are
online at the URL below and can just be faxed to Liz at the AUUG
business offices.

I also noted that our program had had a slight change with one of our
speakers dropping out with a last minute conflict. Rather than try to
re-shuffle things too much I'll present a short piece on Apache in the
hole in the program. The final program is thus:

	8:45	Registration & Refreshments

9:20	Deploying and Managing Linux systems with RPM, APT and Kickstart
		Mike MacCana - Cybersource
	10:00	KARA - cfg management with rsync/cvs/ssh
		Adrian Close

	10:40	Break

11:10	Abusing the Debian ipmasq package
Martin Schwenke - IBM OzLabs Linux Technology Centre
11:50	User authentication in heterogeneous networks
		Matthew Geddes - Tellurian P/L.

	12:30	Lunch

	13:30	Capacity planning/measurement
Peter Harding - Peter Harding & Assoc.
	14:10	Zeroconf networking
Brad Hards - Sigma Bravo P/L.

	14:50	Break

	15:20	Measuring and Tuning Apache
		Enno Davids - Metva
16:00	Sys Admins - Business Custodians?
		Trevor Jones - StorageTek
16:40	Storage Futures - Modern SANs, NAS and direct attached storage
		TBA - EMC

	17:20	Close

Once again, this is also updated on the Web site.

Finally just a note. Early on I had the address of the venue wrong. Its
been corrected on the Web pages for most of the last 2 weeks but it bears
noting that the correct address is

	The Asutralian Industry Group,
	20 Queens Rd,
	Melbourne, 3004.

Those of you taking up the venue on their offer of $10 parking will need
to enter through the lane in the rear of the building.

Hope to see you all there!

Enno.
