In the absence of a Business Manager, bookkeeper, or Secretary, I've
been doing the membership stuff. In fact, I processed five membership
renewals on Sunday/Monday.

It's true we have not done autorenewals in the last year and probably
not since Liz left, but we have been processing explicitly requested
renewals. And I do remember our ex-Secretary trying to rustle up
expired members a year or so ago.

I don't have the exact numbers right at the moment, but we have about
three dozen members.

As I mentioned recently, I'm happy to check membership status for
anyone who asks, since I am custodian of the laptop holding the
definitive list.

I guess I haven't pushed membership too hard, since I don't feel right
asking people to pay for something that might be going away Real Soon
Now.
