BarCampAustralia 2007

BarCampAustralia will be the first ever Australian BarCamp event.

The event is currently in the very early stages of planning, but it is
decided that there will be at least two locations (see BarCampAdelaide
and BarCampMelbourne) with the possibility of more (see BarCampPerth
and BarCampSydney) and that it will occur on the 3rd and 4th of March
2007.

This page contains information related to the coordination of the
event as a whole. If you think you would like to attend the event,
please put your name and contact details at either the Melbourne or
Adelaide page. Alternatively, if you'd like to start your own BarCamp
in another part of Australia, create your own page on this site and
link to/from this page.

What is a BarCamp?

A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to
share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with
discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. If you want to
attend, you are encouraged to give a presentation or a demo of some
kind. Have a look at wikipedia for more information.
