Congratulations for having been able to avoid this nasty trick for
such a long time!  I've been getting them for at least a year.  There
seem to be three kinds: some which fake mail addresses at random,
others which appear deliberately to use my name to spam other people,
and others again which only get sent to the "sender".  It sounds like
yours is the third kind.
