Well, yes and no... It will be used to monitor Operating Systems (*NIX,
WIN32), Databases (Oracle, DB2), and Applications (OraApps, PeopleSoft).
Some bits will be visible from Java, some won't.
The current plan is a core of Java, with Java, C, C++, or other "plug-ins"
to do the stuff that can't be done in Java.
Of course, some of the plug-ins will have to be separate processes, as who
wants a setuid or setgid JVM to be able to erad /dev/kmem!
