Oh, a subscriber's only list seems the most sensible way. When I administered some AUUG mailing lists there were one or two members who seemed to want to post from about 3 e-mail addresses and in mailman you can add all 3 e-mail addresses and set "no mail" on the ones the user doesn't want to receive the actual mail on... :-)
