[AUUG-Talk]: Wind up AUUG: Objections?

As (I think - who's got the data?) a financial member & who voted to keep AUUG
going (I thought I'd volunteered - I was in the UK at the time) as I'd not want
to see the "History" lost & particularly would like to see John Lions
recognised in the (John Lions prize) way he was, & who also has a copy of every
paper AUUGN produced (I think I offered them for copying or did so - my memory
is bad)...

I would agree that the formation of the AUUG Preservation Society or whatever
would be a good thing & at least assuage some of my regrets about the loss of
AUUG.

If paper assets need to be kept, I could probably do that at USyd.
We could also host a nameserver/website etc. but it sounds like there's a few
who can do that.

So my hand is up...

Cheers

johnd
