After ~21 years, the company spawned in early 1986 by the failure of
Fawnray/Prance and Neology has been sold to Citrix.
..."seven of Aurema's nine Sydney employees had been hired by Citrix
as part of the deal."
... "Aurema's engineering base had remained in Sydney and would now
become part of Citrix's Advanced Products Group in North Ryde."
They licensed the "Fair Share Scheduler". The VC firm, Allen &
Buckeridge <http://www.a-b.com.au/>
bought Softway (around 1996) and sold the 'security'
services/products, retaining FSS as the base for Aurema.
Roger Allen was former head of Computer Power Group.
My question: Who's going to get the Expresso machine :-)
