In my experience, the wait time on Apple's after sales support phone lines 
is appalling. I've had to wait more than 40 minutes to speak to a person.
Strangely, they seem to answer their sales lines immediately.
You'll have to draw your own conclusions as to how this reflects on their 
committment to existing customers and after sales support.
