Not quite. Each download is wrapped in with a DRM wrapper, which needs a
key to unwrap. The download requires you to have IE with Windows Media
Player running on your computer to get the key and unwrap. Burning to
disk must be done via Windows Media Player. I believe that WMP will
unwrap, burn and then re-wrap, at the same time reducing a counter
within the wrapper by 1. In this way you are limited to 3 burns.
These are rules set by the owner of the music, and I personally don't
have a problem with that. What I object to is the need to have IE+WMP to
be able to do it all. I hope that if the EU rules come into effect, this
will change.
