rsh, fingerd and sendmail.
There were binaries for VAX & SUN.

They were all well known & reported security holes the vendors would not
patch ;-)
We haven't seen anything as sophisticated in the Windows world -
multi-platform, multi-exploit, rate controlled (that didn't work so well).
