According to:

'several billion Danish Krone' is about AUD 1 billion.

According to this:

Danish Population: 5,352,815 (July 2001 Est)
 Danish GDP: 136,2 bUSD

According to this:

 Australian Population: 19,831,000
Australian GDP: 357.3 bUSD. (2001 figure)

Rough Multiplier factor [(Australian GDP)/(Danish GDP)]:
357.3/136,2 = 2.62

This means that Australia could save AUD 2.62 billion in public
administration costs by adopting FOSS, on the basis of the Danish ecomonic
