Hi,

In Munich the city council stopped the transition of the server structure
to Linux machines. They are afraid of fines because Linux and other open
software software may violate software patents which are on a way to get
introduced in the European Union.

If I remember correctly the transition affects 15 000 machines and is the
largest Linux infrastructure project.
