[Cook] Distcc and Cook

Hi folks,

Has anyone had any success with distcc (http://distcc.samba.org) and
cook?  I've tried the naive thing: setting up distcc for several 
machines,  then setting -par 8  as a command line option for cook.
I only seem to get a single job going at a time, and it goes to a
single machine every time (the first on the distcc host list).

I have no parallel options in my cook recipe, so was expecting 
cook to spawn 8 tasks and distcc to do the distribution work.  I'm
left wondering if my cook recipe just isn't parallelizing.

Any help is appreciated, please.
