[Cook] Regex Feature Request

It would be nice if I could select between POSIX basic RE and POSIX
extended RE in my cook file.  Is this something that has been
considered?  The REG_EXTENDED flag is already supported on most
platforms.

P.S. Not only have I started converting builds to cook, I have been
converting all my "end-of-day" processing scripts as well (which is why
I need some complex regex).  Now, my scripts are totally interruptable
and resumable, and also can be multithreaded (not withstanding the
previous problem report) and distributed among many machines.

Way cool.
