You can't ignore the requirement to follow due process. This can't be
done ad-hoc because that's not allowed. There are legal requirements,
and in the event that these are flaunted, there are legal
ramifications, probably affecting the committee more than anyone else.
Put it this way: If you're for doing it quick whilst ignoring the
rules, see if you can get a committee to join you in taking
responsibility.<br>

Anyway, I dispute that I'm a hindrance. On the contrary, by pointing
out pitfalls, I aid the process. That is, unless the plan is to leap
into a pit. (I'm sure it's not.)<br>
